 The last boss standing in Ulduar 10-man for Blood and Tears was Algalon the Observer. But no more, as he lay dead at our feet this week!
Algalon requires you to complete all the hard modes needed for the quest to obtain the disc. Once you have done that you can gain access to his room for one hour each week. That leaves you with only one hour to wipe and get a hang of the fight, making it a slow one to kill even though it's technically not that hard.
Next target is of course his heroic brother!

So there it is, Trial of Conquest, Blizzard's next contect patch and supposedly the last one before we set on our final mission to Arthas.
This raid instance comes equipped with a lockout system that means that only one new boss per week will be available, which is apparently the best Blizz could come up with to slow guilds down. In addition, the hard modes (now combined in a seperate "Heroic" instance) are not available yet.
So, our first night in ToC lasted... 15 minutes. And then all Beasts of Northrend lay dead at Blood and Tears' feet. Horde First, for whatever that may be worth.
Lets hope the rest will be more challenging. Meanwhile we'll continue to work towards Algalon! |

And there it is! Val'anyr: Hammer of Ancient Kings, in Zeldon's hands! The first one on Horde side of this realm. It took a while to get all the shards, and then he made us wipe some times on Yogg Saron 3-keepers (also a guild and horde first in between) a bit. But he has it!
Big gratz to Zeldon! May the procs be with you! :D |
