It has been a truly amazing three years. From the start of TBC we've seen it all, from Karazhan, Magtheridon and Gruul, through SSC and TK and finally the Black Temple and Sunwell Plateau, ending with a world rank of around 650. In Wrath of the Lich King we have blasted through Naxx, Obsidian Sanctum, and ofcourse Ulduar, ToC and most of Icecrown Citadel. We've done most of what Blizzard offered us, the achievements, the hard modes and it's been quite a journey... but here it ends for Blood and Tears as we officialy retire as a raiding guild.
The reasons are many, but in the end it always comes down to people losing the drive to go on and to invest so much time and energy into a game and when those are the people that make up the core of a guild it's time to call it quits and persue other interests in life. Although it's always a sad moment when such a long standing guild takes a dramatic change of course, the feelings in the end are positive. We've all had a great time, but we also knew that no guild lives forever. We have three years of memories to love and cherish and in the process we've made many great friends. Of course we are sorry that we can no longer hold the pride of the Horde high on Ghostlands when it comes to 25-man raiding, but we hope and feel that in the past years, we've contributed quite our share!
The guild will continue as a group of social friends for those who want to, doing some 10-mans, PVPing and just enjoying the social aspect of the game. And probably talking about "the good old days" :P
As GM I would like to say thank you to ALL the members who have contributed to the success, the great guild spirit and the awesome moments in the past three years. It has truly been an honor to play with all of you and the memories will last for the rest of my life.

On our way to Arthas there was just one obstacle left, a big frosty, bony and angry icecube machine. We like our raids "on the rocks", so this seemed exactly like our cup of tea. It took a bit of practice to get the amount of icecubes in our drinks exactly right though. Sometimes there was too little ice, while at other times we had about 25 cubes and no alcohol...
In the end it was of course the last attempt of the night resulting in another Horde First kill. It always brings that little bit of added pressure that is needed to be able to push to the next level... The next target is of course Arthas himself. The Lich King will pay!

We love to sink out teeth in a new challenge, that is no secret. However, the Blood Queen fight unleashed some deeper desires within the guild. Orgy is too big a word, but it must be said that even our GM got a little worried at seeying people like Alpar and Firedeath bite each other with more passion that the fight itself should warrant!
Once we cooled some people off and set some strict rules on who was allowed to bite whom and where, things became a little less chaotic, resulting in the death of the Blood Queen!
Another Horde First kill for Blood and Tears. Next in line are some dragons and ultimately... the Lich King himself.
